Crown Products, Inc. is a leading export trading company that arranges the packaging and shipping of high quality pulses and foodstuff products under its own Crown brand.  Based in Metairie, Louisiana and founded in 1989, Crown Products, Inc. exports its products to over 80 countries around the world.

 

In the beginning, Crown Products Inc. concentrated on exporting Louisiana produced items such as hot sauce, vinegar and honey to the Middle Eastern and Central American countries.  After several years, factories were built overseas,  and we were no longer competitive in the market.  Crown decided to diversify the products to include various other wholesale and retail items.

 

Like most small starting businesses, the company faced many initial challenges, but with the financial assistance and support provided by the SBA Export Working Capital Program (EWCP), Crown Products, Inc. was able to expand its purchasing power and grow throughout the years.

 

With export sales having exceeded $50 million dollars in 2009 and a large distribution network all around the world, Crown has become a very well -known brand to the global consumer.  Having a Grain  division,  a Retail Snacks, & Foodstuff division, the company product line includes Crown Popcorn, Sunflower Seeds, Blackeye Peas, Kidney Beans, White Beans, Millet, Mayonnaise, Peanut Butter, Microwave Popcorn, Coffee Creamer, Coconut Milk, Potato Sticks, Canned Nuts, Sardines, and many other items.
